Inbound marketing, as the name suggest is an inbound way of promoting your business. This means that rather than you going after the customers, you build your online presence in such a way that customers start coming to you. You have to pull your customers towards yourself. Not many people are aware of it but whoever follows this are achieving success.

For many years’ marketers focused on outbound marketing. Messages were pushed out to buy people’s attention. With inbound marketing, the focus shifted to earn attention. It’s like giving permission for marketing. For example, if you are a blogger you will ask for permission to sign up for the newsletter through email. If people will like your blogs, then they will follow you or will sign-in to your newsletter. With inbound marketing, your focus becomes more defined and less time is wasted trying to appeal to all.
